Notes This pub is NOT a gastro pub but a really nice local that serves light bites and traditional pub food done very well. They are expanding their team by adding an additional layer into the structure. Currently this small team manages a busy weekend service and a very good grey pound weekday trade. They are looking for someone who has developed and grown  up in a large group brewery operated business. You may have worked for Whitbreads, M&B, etc and have worked in a local midlands food led operation. You will be comfortable in a busy pub and have some strong bar and restaurant skills. The head chef reports to a regional chef and you will be expected to support and co-operate with him and his team. The general manager has been with the pub since it's conception and is very strong indeed. Under his guidance you should be able to manage your own pub inside 12 months. The pub is owned by a small restaurant group which is set to expand in 2010 creating opportunities for development internally.The successful candidate will be bright, positive, well presented and capable of delivering great customer service.
