Assistant ManagerQuality, fresh food Restaurant Group with sites approaching 50 across the UK who plan to open more as the economy grows. Casual dining, unique menu, discerning diners who are distinctly middle aged and affluent. The food offered is of the highest quality and sourced from within the groups own farms and estate. Assistant Manager will: - Have a strong CV with not too many moves in well known restaurants in the area and having achieved a team leader / supervisor role within your career to date.
- Be happy to take instruction and work within the tight guidelines and controls set out by your General Manager and the Company
- Know what makes the restaurant successful and how the senior management team manage success. The desire to achieve and deliver what is expected is essential and therefore an understanding of motivational behaviour will help lead the team
- Be very customer focused, with warm, friendly, outgoing personality who can develop relationships easily
- Try to anticipate and exceed customers expectations at all times
- Train, motivate and develop the team to meet the needs of the customer and the company
- Understand P&L and what effects the bottom line
- Help to Manage the site in the General Managers absence in a positive and proactive manner
- Help with Stock taking, ordering and maintaining GP’s
- Maintain high levels of Cleanliness and standards throughout the business
- Be diligent and compliant with all H&S and food Hygiene requirements
The rewards For Assistant Manager level: - Excellent starting salary £16-18k
- Share of the Tronc system up to £5k net per year
- Company bonus scheme based on certain goals and controls within the Restaurant 10% of your basic salary
