You will be responsible for creating new and exciting offers whilst making the most of the seasons and current trends and be very mindful of costs and margin. The company is positive about regional dishes and old favourites making use of economical joints to deliver fine simple food and exceptional comfort dishes. Presentation and flavour must be of Rosette standard and not compromised to achieve the financial budgets. You will also be required to train and motivate all junior members of the team. You will be a calm, self motivated leader who inspires others
To be successful you will:
•Be either an established GM who is looking for a new challenge or you may have joined a large group and find the restriction suffocating or a strong Deputy Manager looking for the step up into a number 1 role.
•Be able to demonstrate a strong and stable background with a great working attitude
•Be classically trained and have spent time working in a quality restaurant or hotel
•Be a good communicator and leader and have developed some strong financial acumen along the way
In this role you will be required to work closely with the Proprietor and other managers and Head chefs to build a strong team and loyal customer base
